This Policy applies to all personal information collected from clients, prospective clients, and event attendees in connection with our character visit, face painting, and party package services. It applies whether information is collected in person, by phone, by email, or through our website.

This Policy does not apply to information about our employees or contractors, which is governed by separate internal arrangements.

 

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services, including:

• Client contact details: name, phone number, email address, and event location

• Children’s details: first names and ages of children attending the event, used solely to personalise our performance

• Payment information: transaction records processed through our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our systems

• Event photographs: images taken by our staff during events, where prior consent has been obtained

We will not collect sensitive information (as defined under the Privacy Act) unless it is necessary and you have consented to its collection.

 

3. How we collect information

We collect personal information directly from you when you make a booking, communicate with us about your event, make a payment, or provide consent for photography. We do not collect personal information through automated means, third-party data brokers, or any unlawful method.

 

4. Children’s privacy

Given the nature of our services, we regularly receive information about children. We treat this information with the highest level of care. Children’s personal information, including names and ages, is used exclusively to deliver and personalise our performance and for no other purpose.

We do not share, publish, or distribute any photographs, videos, or identifying details relating to children without the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian. Consent for photography may be withdrawn at any time by notifying us in writing.

Photography consent: Where our staff take photographs or video at an event, we will seek your consent prior to the event. Images will not be used in any promotional material, social media, or public-facing content without your approval.

 

5. Purpose of collection and use

We use personal information collected for the following purposes:

• To confirm, manage, and deliver bookings and entertainment services

• To process payments and maintain required financial records

• To respond to enquiries, requests, and complaints

• To comply with our legal, regulatory, and tax obligations

We will not use personal information for any purpose beyond those listed above without your consent. We do not engage in direct marketing and will not use your contact details to send promotional communications.

 

6. Disclosure of information
